Project Description: Narayani river bridge project is a project for the feasibility study of bridge above Narayani River at Narayangath of Chitwan district. This bathymetric survey is carried out to have the detail concept of river depth and bed. This bridge is planned to be designed and constructed as an alternative bridge over Narayani river at Narayangath.

Scope of Services:

1. Collection of the data from the client and necessary desk study before mobilization to the site;
2. Transfer of National trig point and National bench mark to project sites
3. Establishment of two control points in the periphery of proposed site in MUTM coordinate System;
4. Bathymetric survey of Narayani River along three section at bridge location;
5. Cross-section survey up to High Flood Level along three section at both sides;
6. Longitudinal water level survey of both bank;
7. Presentation on working methodology and its accuracy to the client at client’s office; and
8. Mapping and report preparation.
9. Preparation at DOR-Bridge unit office
10. Equipment Used:
   a) Differential Global Positioning System Sets-2 sets with accessories;
   b) Echosounder integrated with transducer & sonar system and 15″ display built in PC;
   c) Rafting Boat, Motor boat engine and accessories.
