Project Description: Brahmayeni Hydropower Project is located in Sindhupalchowk District of Nepal. The project is designed for RoR Scheme with 36.16 MW Capacity. The headworks of the project is located in 2500 masl.
Scope of Services:
1. Installation of Hydrological Station
a. Site study and site survey for installation of Automatic Water Level Recorder (AWLR);
b. Design of AWLR system, selection of appropriate type of sensors, data logger and communication system; and
c. Site installation of Automatic Water Level Recorder with satellite mode communication system;
2. Staff Gauge Installation, River Cross-section survey and Discharge Measurement
a. Staff Gauge Installation at the intake location of height 3m and carry out cross-section survey at that location;
b. Discharge Measurement at suitable section nearby the gauge location and river cross-section survey along discharge measurement section;
c. Monthly discharge measurement and development of rating curve at the end of the study period;
d. Equipment Used- USGS standard Current Meter and its accessories
