Project Description: Ghwang Khola Hydropower (2.8 MW) and Upper Khimti I (6.0 MW) Hydropower Project are located in Ramechhap District. Feasibility study of the Ghwang Khola HPP has been completed while as Upper Khimti I Hydropower Project is under construction. The discharge measurement is aimed to monitor the discharge of Ghwang Khola and Khimti Khola for design purpose. 

Scope of Services:

1. Site Selection and Gauge Installation at two locations, total 6 m;
2. Provide training to local gauge reader for proper gauge reading and recording in standard format;
3. Monthly discharge measurement of Khimti and Ghwang Khola at five different locations for 12 times, total 60 Nos;
4. Development of the rating curve using measured discharges and corresponding gauge heights;
5. Equipment Used:
    a) Graduated Aluminum gauge plater;
    b) Standard size Agrakh wood;
    c) Rock drilling equipment;
    d) Portable generator;
    e) Level pipe, plumb bell, hammer, bolts grips and accessories.
    f) Gurley Price Current Meter; and
    g) Wading Rod Set.
