Duration:  June 2018 to October 2018

Project Description: Bheri 4 Storage Hydroelectric Project is of license capacity 300 MW located in Surkhet, Salyan, Jajarkot and Rukum districts of Western Nepal. The project has design discharge of 275 m3/s sourced from the Catchment of Bheri River and Chheda River. 

Scope of Services:

1. Arrangement and transportation of the equipment necessary for sampling;
2. Appoint and train local person to carry out the sampling works 111 frequencies as specifies in the TOR;
3. Suspended Load Sampling by Point Sampling Method on Bheri River two samples per day for four months duration;
4. Carry out the Sediment Concentration Test (244 samples), Mineral Content Test (32 samples) and Particle Size Distribution Test (32 samples); and
5. Interpretation and analysis of test results and preparation of report.
6. Equipment used:
   a) Point sampling bottles and sampling arrangement;
   b) Filtration system, weighing system, drying oven and accessories;
   c) Zoom stereo type microscope (maximum up to 180 x);
   d) Particle Size Distribution Analyzer of capacity range of 0.4 micron to 2,000 microns.
