Project Description: Kahpuche Lake is one of the Glacier Lake of Nepal situated in Kaski district. It is the glacier lake located at the lowest elevation (around 2442 masl). From the Bathymetric Survey of Kahpuche Galcier Lake, following salient features were observed;
   • Total water volume: 22,069,376.13 m3;
   • Surface Area: 113,646 m2;
   • Perimeter: 1719 m;
   • Maximum Observed Depth: 34.03 m;
   • Maximum Length: 389m; and
   • Maximum Width: 310m

Scope of Services:

1. Establishment of Control Point around the Lake;
2. Carrying out Bathymetric Survey of Kahpuche Glacier Lake by using DGPS integrated echo-sounder with Operating System Control;
3. Carrying out detailed survey around the lake in the strip of 20m;
4. Determination of the salient features of the lake such as maximum depth, total area, total water volume, lake perimeter, length and width; and
5. Development Bathymetric Map and Report.

   • Echosounder integrated with Professional Sonar System and 15″ built in PC
   • Rafting Boat and accessories
