Project Description: The Myagdi River is located in Myagdi District and its source can be traced back to Mt Dhaulagiri. It flows through Myagdi district and converges with Kaligandaki River. It is a stream type river that is at an elevation of 854 meters (2,802 feet). The Myagdi Khola Hydropower Project is a Run-of-River scheme that utilizes the the flow in Myagdi Khola. It is located in Myagdi District, Dhaulagiri Zone of Western Development Region of Nepal.The headworks is located at the Kunaban/Myagdi confluence and the powerhouse is located at Jeltun Village.
The proposed project has installed capacity of 57.30 MW, catchment area of 306 km2 design discharge of 12.50m3/sec and net head of 537.23m.

Scope of Services:

1. Conduct Hydrological study of the river and catchment area and recommend required hydrological investigations;
2. Supply, delivery and installation of satellite based automatic water level recorder in Headworks site of Myagdi Khola Hydropower Project for water level recording;
3. Equipment configuration and integration to satellite communication system and provide training to Client for data viewing and retrieving from the server;
4. Relate automatic water level recording with the flood level to design flood warning system;
5. Discharge measurement at two locations as identified by the client from December 2019 to May 2020;
6. Installation of 1 m manual staff gauge at the headworks of Myagdi Khola Hydropower Project;
7. Monthly discharge report preparation and submission including site status and photographs;

   b) Lighting surge protector for RS-485 and 12 VDC;
   c) Data Logger;
   d) M2M Communications Terminal (Satellite type);
   e) Power System (Solar Panel 55W & VRLA Battery 12v 75 Ah);
   f) Metal Mast and accessories for installation and set-up;
   g) Current Meter and related accessories;
   h) Gauge plate, wood frame and accessories.
