Location: Solukhumbu and Ramechhap   District, Nepal

Client: Pan Himalaya Energy Pvt. Ltd.

Duration:  May 2019 to July 2019

Project Description: Diversion weir of length 48.0m and height 2.0m above the natural bed level at Likhu Khola and 50.0m long and 1.0m high diversion dam at Nupche Khola; settling basin 2 units of length 120m, width 24.4m and depth of 10.05m; HRT 7.45 km of finished diameter 3.0m; semi-underground powerhouse housing 2 units of 27MW each vertical axis Pelton Turbine; 132 kV Transmission Line from Likhu 1 switchyard to Likhu A Substation with length 12.2km.

Scope of Services:

1. Supply, Delivery and Installation of 1m high, 4 numbers of Staff Gauge at appropriate location acceptable to the Client;
2. Development of standard log book to record the gauge readings properly;
3. Provide training to the local staff gauge reader for taking regular readings as per DoED guidelines;
4. Discharge measurement at dam site from the bridge for six times;
5. Sieve size analysis (PSD) of 400mm to 32mm range for Model sediment feed material;
6. Preparation of construction level drawings with detail plan, X-section and L-section, covering all areas required for construction;
7. Study of various flow records like of 1, 2, 4, 10, 20, 50, 100 yrs flood and design flood and provide to the client;
8. Preparation of Sediment concentration Vs discharge to generate sediment feeding rate in the river model;
9. Rating curve development and HEC RAS modeling for different flood discharge; and
10. Participation in meeting for design related issues and frequently site visit.
