Project Description: Kaligandaki River is one of the seven tributaries of Narayani (Saptagandaki) river. Kaligandaki river originates from Nhubine Himal Glacier of Mustang district and joins Trishuli rive at Devghat, after which the river is called Narayani. Kaligandaki river basin has total area of 11,841.69 km2 ranging from maximum elevation of 8,120 m to 190m (Devghat). The project site is located in Syanja, Palpa, Tanahun and Nawalparasi East districts of Province No. 4 Gandaki province.
