Project Description: This project has recently been identified and the license has been acquired by the Client. The Client wants to collect the field data on river discharge through periodic direct discharge measurement as well as observation of gauge reading to develop the rating curve.

Scope of Services:

1. Desk study and meeting with clients about the tentative location and schedule for the discharge measurement and gauge installation;
2. Gathering and transportation of all the necessary materials and equipment required for the discharge measurement and gauge installation;
3. Proper selection of the suitable location for the installation with reference to the coordinates/tentative location provided by the client;
4. Proper installation of 1 m long 4-meter manual gauges in Budhiganga and Kawadi Khola in single or more than 1 rock outcrop as feasible;
5. Development of standard log book to record the gauge readings properly;
6. Provide training to the local staff gauge reader for taking reading as per DoED guidelines;
7. Monthly discharge measurement at Budhiganga, Bichya Khola and Kawadi Khola Starting from November for 7 months;
8. Preparation and submission of monthly measurement report; and
9. Final report submission including rating curve at the end of service period.

   a) Current Meter;
   b) 75/35-pound fish weight;
   c) 45m long sounding reel;
   d) Wading Rod Set
   e) Four-wheel pulley & crane arrangement; and
   f) Gauge plates, wooden posts, rock driller and accessories.
